I spent ten years in special education administration at a public charter school system, where I built and ran the operational infrastructure behind that work. That included behavior intervention plan templates used across campuses, a referral process that took a fragmented intake system and made it consistent, a containment incident SOP built to hold up under state review, a compliance tracker that kept our documentation audit-ready year round, and a daily behavior data system that produced clean, quarterly trend data without manual aggregation, amongst other accomplishments.

Every one of those systems had two requirements: it had to satisfy a regulator and it had to be usable by staff who were already stretched thin. Systems that only met the first requirement looked good on paper and fell apart in practice. Learning to build for both is the core of what I do now.

I attended University of Houston Clear Lake to obtain my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and Texas State University to obtain a Master's in Special Education, focusing on Behavioral Disorders, all while working full time and raising a child. Being a single parent navigating school and a career teaches you to be resourceful and work within the constraints of a system to make it work for you and that is exactly what I can do for your business!
