My background is unconventional for an operations consultant and that is precisely what makes my approach more effective. I spent 10 years building operational documentation systems in special education and behavioral health. These fields are governed by federal law and subject to state audits. A process failure in these areas was not just a missed deadline, but had the potential to create legal exposure, safety risks, and real harm to the people being served in the community.
